 Department Overview: Cando’s annual sales include rail ties, new, relay & landscape quality in amounts exceeding 100,000 ties per year to Canadian, US and overseas markets, plus several thousand tons of new and relay rail & OTM to Canadian, US and oversea markets. Cando also has available several casting products. Which includes sickle guards, hi-rail wheels, tamper tools and many other casting parts. Department Equipment and/or Facilities: Products/Services: Railway steel (Availability List as of June 01/2010) Other Track Material (OTM) Rail switches including the steel and wood switch sets Hi-rail wheels Sea containers Rough lumber Metal clad siding Galvonized poly culverts Tamper tools Sickle guards Cando's logistics department can arrange all types of shipping from rail cars to trucking and LTL The Cando yard in Brandon, has a large supply of various sizes of rough lumber, culverts and metals for home and farm building roofing and siding, along with various sizes of containers Cando can deliver to the customers location
Customer(s): Various dealers on the west coast for shipments to Japan, China and Twiawan. Railway steel and OTM are sold and shipped to various shortlines in Canada and the US. Culvert markets include a vast number of RM’s and villages. Various lumber and farm supply stores in western Canada.
