CEMR

Department Overview: CEMR is a rail service provider operating on 118 miles of owned and self-maintained track on two subdivisions (51 miles on Carman and 67 miles on Pine Falls) Our Transcona Yard is located on 38 acres of secured land and we interchange daily with both the Canadian National and Canadian Pacific class I Railways. Our 13000 sq. ft. repair facility employs qualified electricians and mechanics ensuring our locomotive reliability.
Department Equipment and/or Facilities:
CEMR owns and operates 4 GP9 Locomotives.
CEMR’s rail yard consists of 6 tracks, each holding approximately 60 cars. Our storage capacity including sidings on the Carman and Pine Falls subdivisions totals approximately 800 cars.
Products/Services:
CEMR provides switching service 5 days a week to its local Norcran customers.
Twice a week service to Pine Falls and Carman customers.
