Cando is responsible for hiring, training and supplying personnel, as well as 2 locomotives and track maintenance equipment, to perform the switching operations and routine track maintenance work on a single shift, seven-days per week basis.

Cando also performs part-time switching operations for Lafarge’s Bath plant using a 9TM Trackmobile for loading cement railcars.

In early 1998, Cando commenced switching operations (unloading oil trains) for Ontario Power Generation at the Lennox Generating Station at Bath, Ontario. This work is performed on a call-out basis
